✨ Assistant Toddler Teacher – Tiny Town Early Learning Centers ✨
Tiny Town is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Toddler Teacher to support our toddler classrooms. We’re looking for someone who understands the fast pace of toddler life and can help create a warm, structured, and developmentally supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead teacher with daily routines, transitions, and classroom management
- Support toddlers in developing independence, communication, and self‑help skills
- Model and encourage positive social‑emotional behaviors
- Help implement age‑appropriate activities that promote exploration and learning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- Observe and support individual child needs under the guidance of the lead teacher
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of toddler development, behavior, and age‑appropriate expectations
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and consistent in a busy, high‑energy classroom
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow classroom systems
- Reliable attendance, time management, and communication
- Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
- Experience in childcare or early education preferred, but not required
- Flexibility and a positive, upbeat attitude
